BMW India Launches First-Ever M Drift Academy in Thane
BMW India has announced the launch of its first drifting school in the country — the BMW M Drift Academy — aimed at driving enthusiasts eager to master the art of drifting. The academy will be held on April 26-27 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Raymond compound in Thane, Maharashtra.
Drifting with the BMW M2 and M4
Participants will have the opportunity to learn and sharpen their drifting skills behind the wheel of high-performance BMW M2s and M4s, under the guidance of professional instructors trained and certified by BMW Germany.
BMW M Drift Academy Highlights:
- 3.5-hour “Drift Pilots” Training Course
The course is designed to help participants perfect various drifting techniques, including:- Drift initiation and throttle control
- Stylish half-circle drift execution
- Full-circle drifts (clockwise and anti-clockwise)
- Smooth transitions, including figure-eight drifting
- Red Badge Certification
Upon completing the curriculum, select participants will be awarded Red Badges by the BMW M Academy — a mark of drifting excellence.
