Hyundai has expanded its Exter CNG lineup with the introduction of a new EX variant, priced at ₹7.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes the EX the most affordable CNG variant in the Exter range.
Previously, only the higher-spec S, S+, and SX trims were offered with a CNG option. The new EX variant now brings Hyundai’s Hy-CNG dual-cylinder technology to a more accessible price point.
Hyundai’s Dual-Cylinder CNG Setup
Unlike conventional setups that use a single large cylinder, Hyundai’s Hy-CNG system incorporates two smaller cylinders, freeing up more space in the boot. While the Exter is also available with a traditional single-cylinder layout, this hasn’t yet been offered with the EX trim.
