Here’s a quick overview of what to expect.

New Skoda Kodiaq Exterior Design:
The design of the new Kodiaq is a refined version of its predecessor. It retains the split headlamp design with updated LED daytime running light signatures and an illuminated grille. At the rear, the C-shaped tail lamps are now connected by a light bar that spans the width of the tailgate. The new Kodiaq comes with standard 18-inch wheels.
The primary distinction between the trims lies in the Sportline’s blacked-out details, including the grille, D-pillar garnish, and rear bumper, while the Lauren and Klement trims feature silver accents. The Sportline also boasts a more athletic design for the alloy wheels.
New Skoda Kodiaq Interior and Features:
Inside, the Kodiaq features a winged dashboard design, dominated by a 13-inch free-floating touchscreen infotainment system. There’s also a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a new two-spoke steering wheel with the Skoda logo, and three configurable rotary dials for HVAC and other functions.
As for features, the Kodiaq comes with 3-zone climate control, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, and park assist. The L&K trim adds heated and ventilated front seats with a massage function, while the Sportline lacks these, opting for sportier bucket seats.
New Skoda Kodiaq Powertrain and Specs:
Under the hood, the Kodiaq is equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that generates 204hp and 320Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and comes with standard all-wheel drive. The ARAI-claimed fuel efficiency stands at 14.86kpl.
As before, the Kodiaq will be locally assembled in India, with prices expected to start around Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will compete with rivals like the Jeep Meridian, Hyundai Tucson, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line.
